Oh ok then, my bad, I must have missed that bit earlier  :ashamed:
Defo want to get mine redone as shadows though!  :happy2:
are you going to get them re-painted with shadow colour ? any idea if it will look the same as original ones and cost ?

Going to get mine refurbed and then powder coated rather than diamond cut. Will probably try to get the paint similar colours to the shadows if possible. They won't look exactly right, because they won't be diamond cut, but I'm hoping they should still look fairly close. Not too sure about cost because I don't know where to get them done yet. Need to locate a reputable company in my area.

@ scottm72:

I'm trying to help and not be pedantic, but if you write your replies after the end-of-quote '[/ quote]' code, your words will appear in the right place and size without a grey background. I only say this so that folks can read your posts more easily  :happy2:

....Yes, you write your reply after where you see the last '[/ quote]' written (assuming you are wanting to quote someone in your Reply). If you don't want to quote the words or photos you are replying to, just hit the Reply button.

The other thing is that WRITING SENTENCES ALL IN CAPITAL LETTERS is considered to be shouting in internet forum etiquette (not just on this forum).

HTH (Hope This Helps)  :happy2:

^^^ Personally don't like the painted finish.

This is what the standard Monza 2 finish looks like:

Diamond Black 2007 (56) Golf GTI 3Dr DSG ¦ 18" Monza II's ¦ Cruise control ¦ MFSW ¦ Highline ¦ Rear parking sensors ¦ PDT Stage 1 ¦ Forge Twintake ¦ H&R Sport Springs ¦ NQSBBK ¦ R32 Rear bumper ¦ BCS Powervalve Sports R32 style TBE ¦ Valeo LED Rear Lights ¦ Xenon lights with HID kit ¦ DNX521DAB ¦ 12mm Spacers all round ¦

I think I prefer the standard Monza II finish also.

.
I prefer the subtlety of the standard Monza II to the Monza Shadow too, but it's just down to personal taste.

guys can i clarify something here, what is the main difference between the monza and monza 2, noob question i know but i see the last pic of the monza 2 has a darker inner circles, shadows is very dark, i get that, and original monzas ? the reason i ask is because i am not sure my monzas reps have any shade difference on the inner circles,,, will check them tomorrow when light,,, now i know they are not painted and i know they are new but i looked today briefly and didnt see any shade diff ? does that mean they are just normal monzas ? will try to put a pic up but not figured out how to do that yet, can any of you guys tell me how to insert a pic from my comp without using something like bucket list for quickness as i would need to set that up,,, would solve a lot of probs if i could just add a pi lol,,,, tried to copy and paste and wont let me ?????
