Upgrade quandry - Galaxy S3 or One X?

As you might have guessed I'm not much of an iphone fan, and have been looking at two quite similar phones for my upgrade due next month - the samsung galaxy S3 and the HTC one x.

I've read a few reviews and the pro's of the S3 (better/removable battery, memory card expandable) seem to outweigh the quality feel of the One X, which has a smaller-capacity bettery and no memory card slot. However being a previous HTC owner I prefer the way it does things and it feels more like a quality item IMO.

Has anyone else on here been in a similar position, own either or them, or am I the orange amongst apples?  :laugh:

I have a one x and one of my workmates has the S3. Both seem to do what you ask and very fast too. I like the HTC sense as does my mate, but he likes the fact it has an expandable memory and access to the battery. I don't worry about either as I will have it for two years and have NEVER USED THE FULL MEMORY OR CHANGED THE BATTERY. Both of us agree that the HTC looks and feels better too. Not a lot in it really and I guess it boils down to which you personally like. :smiley:

There's always one  :P

despite the one x's sealed battery and lack of memory card, I think that's the one I'll end up picking...I had a shot of the samsung yesterday and it just felt a little too big and a bit on the plasticky side. Ok it's screen's only 0.1" bigger than the HTC but it was enough to notice  :grin:

Sorry John, my brother has the S3 and it is bloody lovely.

I don't know about the HTC but any of today's flagship phones are amazing really.  :happy2:

Got the One X, tried the S3, didn't find it as instantly user friendly as the X.

I have the galaxy S3 and i can safely say that i wouldn't look back, it just make the Iphones look Cr*p. the graphics and the clarity of the phone are awesome.

I sold my on ex for a galaxy s3. They both function pretty much the same but the s3 feels a lot more refined in terms of quality and interface.
