Cargo net for the boot??
« on: September 26, 2012, 04:41:13 pm »
Been looking for a cargo net for the car but it seems VW didnt make one specificly for the mk5 :/

Does anyone know where I can get one from or whether there is a part number for one?

I am fed up of stuff sliding around when I go round corners!

cheers  :drinking:

VW do do them but retailed for the Golf Plus i think or similar , i had one but a bit of a waste of money unless you carry one or two things in your boot only. Mines always full and hence i sold it .

Cargo Net Part no is 1K6 867 689 A
Paid around £40 IIRC.

.
I've got two cargo nets and use them both  :P

One under the rear shelf to keep my high-viz vest and the other against the UNIbrace:

RR, where did you get the kneeling pad from? You're the second one I've seen to have a VW one.

....Dude, that's my VeeDub surf board, man!

No, it is an extremely useful kneeling/lying on pad which I think I got at Inters a couple of years ago. It just fits the width of my boot.

Before anyone asks, the rolls are a futon and a sleeping bag. I have a habit of inviting myself to stay overnight at people's homes. But don't worry, I respect the house rule of never being accepted as a guest until the date of my departure is settled.
