RS6 if you like BIG bills and low fuel consumption and the A5 TDI if you like grunt and 40mpg.

My advice is keep the GTI.  :happy2:
Golf R gone.

RS6 Avants are seriously quick Autobahn blasters. A very big car and an easy licence loser in the UK. Thirsty too.

The GTI is a better allrounder than any A5. (IMO)

My dad has a Remapped Audi A5 3.0 tdi Quattro and I love it (he loves it also). Its absolutley stunning to drive and very fast! As much as I love it though its not for me really. But thats just my opinion, I would definately recommend 1!!

Cheers.

A5 3.0 will do 35/38 if you 'drive' it. Dads got one and while its lovely, kitted out etc and quick... It's not exciting to drive.

Itchy feet.. try talcum powder

I do like big audi's (the bigger the better) I can't look at an A8 without thinking of jason stratham in the transporter fims or the audi A8 in the  film Ronin.

But big fast audi's come with big, big bills. I was talking to an audi rs4 owner the other week nearly £2000 to change all the brake disc's and pad's on his car!

I'd stick to your gti and if you find that cure for automotive itchy feet, let us know :happy2:

The only A5 i'd have is the EA888 2.0T quattro. They aren't quite as economical as the 3.0TDI but they are a lot cheaper to buy in the first place, should still give you at least 30mpg, they're lighter, and they remap to 305bhp at stage 1.

I'm not, but Revo seem to be.

The A4/A5 variant of the 2.0T is different to the EA888 in the Mk6 GTI. Has trick valves or something. The MY12 TT now has the same engine too, so you can have TT-S power without the TT-S pricetag
