Bulb clip help
« on: September 27, 2012, 11:55:45 am »
Replaced the main beam bulbs on the car but the metal clip that holds the left bulb in place fell out. Does it simply slot it somewhere? If so, where?

I want to avoid having to take the headlamp out if possible.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

I tried having a look but simply can't spot where the ends of the clip fit at the top of the headlamp case. I suspect I'm going to have to go down the route of taking out the headlight.

I have the D2s bulbs, will be doing mine the weekend

Do you need to remove the bumper to remove the headlamp? and will they automatically re-align? or would I need to get them adjusted?
