MDI Questions

Got my MDI kit today.

Have few questions.

1. I have Ipod dock in armrest installed from factory, can I run MDI as well if I install in glove box?

2. What max USB storage can I use? I have 16GB, will it support?

No, one or the other

don't think it matters for the USB stick , some have a USB hard drive

 :sad1: Not looking forward removing Ipod dock wiring

Can I just disconnect dock, or do I need completely remove loom and blue pin from quad lock?

just unplug it, the factory ipod dock loom is part of the main wiring harness

Fitted today  :star:

Was not easy task to feed wire from unit to armrest without removing whole lot. But after couple hours and nasty scratches on hands job is done.

Really impressed with sound quality, nice piece of kit  :happy2:
