Hi guys,

Just picked up a 2006 graphite blue GTi - loved the drive home. It's a nice spec with leathers, xenons, sat and pdc. It's got 73k on the clock but drives fantastic.

Just wanted to thank members who helped with my sat nav queries...

Just some other issues that I have;

The cam was done at 57k, when is the next when due?
A lot of people have mentioned castrol edge for the oil - is that the case.
The drivers side wing mirror needs new casing - any recommendation on where to buy and have it painted?

Did your car not have a full service when you bought it, including Oil change? If not I would recommend a major service and ask for Castrol Edge 5W 30 or supply your own which will save you some money. Is your car a DSG? If so, see if its needs a DSG Oil change and you may need a Brake fluid change. Check out VW service schedule.....

Thanks for the replies guys, the car is manual and the last service was 5000 miles ago. Just wanted to stock up with oil as I read it does drink a bit.
