Modern brake fluids
« on: September 30, 2012, 02:15:23 pm »
Some advice please,  Are modern brake fluids corrosive ? The reason for asking is we have a Polo and its leaking Brake fluid all over the sound deadening on the bulk head  ,I have now made a little plastic deflector to encourage the fluid away and it is now going on the sub frame and steering rack  .

VW are going to get the part early next week and make a perm repair .

Thank you

Yup, brake fluid is still corrosive to paintwork...
Without traction power is nothing!
