Hawk HP+
Ferodo DS2500
EBC Yellowstuff

All of the above would be classed as in a similar league as each other, and all cost between £110-£150

I regularly fit and highly rate the Pagid rs29, ds2500 and minted 1144.

I have rs29 all round on my own car, have never used a pad that copes as well as these under all conditions. But they are a bit pricy.

Wouldn't put EBC yellows in same category as the above.

EBC Yellows get poopoo'd by some but have also had some very good ratings from others.

There is not one "best" pad.  A pad is car, driver and condition specific.  I currently have Ferodo DS Performance pads and find them perfectly adequate for road use, but i would not consider them a pad i'd use on track.  They are also considerably cheaper than DS2500's so i'll happily munch up road miles on them.
