Never named any of my cars, but all my work vans have been called murtle. As I try to encourage them to go faster I always say "come on murtle!!"

I'm exactly the same as Phil (even the 1975 part) 

.....all my work vans were called "Gert" or "Bertha" or "Myrt".....and even though my cars have always been female too, and often refered to as "she" I can't remember ever naming my cars

Don't have a name for mine, I didn't think I'd keep it long enough to name it :-/

My old 6n2 polo was called "nemo" because it had one smaller wing mirror on the passenger side :-)
