I think me and my boys are going to buy a Super Clod Buster.

Trouble is I am already looking at modified motors!

The tamiya re-release stuff really makes you think of back in the good old days...I wonder will they release the egress...

got a old alphaone?? pretty awesome despite it being old. put in a bigger engine in it and its bloody quick.

used to go down a car park for a shut down bingo hall (now a Ford Dealership), and the wee security guard used to let us mess about with them as long as he got a shot!!
mods complete - rns510, armrest, euro cup holder, gateway upgd, oem xenons, headlamp washers, levellers, heated seats, mk6 reversing cam, r32 interior trim, bluetooth.
mods planned - climatronic, Highline Clocks
registered VCDS

I cannot see Tamiya missing the Egress as it's a pretty easy Cash cow for them, most of the parts are there from previous re-re's anyway.

Ordered a tamiya catalogue. £15 now but 288 pages now though.

So the boys can chose.

I watched a video on the new baja 5b flux its so fast even on dirt it just spins out.

Ridiculous.

Would also love to get a Astute if it gets the re-release treatment

Yes a brushless Supershot does look good (I hate the renamed "Super hotshot", they should have stuck with "Supershot" and all the crappy logos they replaced the originals with make it look average.

Why is the Sand Scorcher so expensive?

I know its a anniversary model but they couldn't give them away in the eighties!

The Tamiya Brushless setup looks neat too.

Lots of metal parts means higher costs, you can get one from HK for £225 Shipped, these re-re's are easy money for the collector scene (this is what prompted them to re-release, seeing the prices they fetched), I bought a Sand Scorcher  from a supplier year back for £35, sold it to a Collector in Europe (cannot remember where) for best part of £2K.

So a re-re costing £190 is pretty cheap  :signLOL: :signLOL:
