Hey all,
at the start of the year, I was unfortunate enough to smack a nasty pothole, scratched my rim, bubbled my tyre and burst/bent my shock. I have had all these replaced, but I am plagued by a rumble/rattle sound from the front left side of the car (the side I hit), Its very noticable in the morning when slowly reversing over the low kerb out my drive, and can be heard/felt on small sharp bumps in the road, Ive been told it may be my top mount is damaged, is there any way I can check this? I dont really want to take the car to a specialist to diagnose a rattle, as it could cost an arm and a leg by the time the source is found, so want to eliminate as much as possible myself first!
