Shadow blue GTI DSG new wheels!
« on: June 26, 2012, 02:00:43 pm »
Hey guys and girls, been a member on here since I started seriously looking for a mark 5. Haven't posted much but got loads of useful info from you all. Anyway, picked up my mk5 yesterday after travelling from Devon to Kent, but it was worth it. Think I got a good buy. Here it is, no decent pics yet.

Really chuffed with it so far. Only got 36K on the clock too. Got everything thing I wanted, spec wise apart from the Nav which I may retrofit when I can afford it.

Upgrades will be slow as its a daily and Ive stretched my budget. Think im going to colour code my bumpers and get a small front splitter. In the future itll be H and R ultralows and some Audi Speedline 19s until i change my mind in 5 mins

Im in Exeter if anyone is around give me a flash

cheers James

I've copied the above post from my intros thread back in January 2011.

A year on I've made a few mods, us spec grill, pioneer avic DVD sat Nav, coil overs, and today some new wheels!

Apologies for the poor pics. Couldn't wait for it to stop raining!

What's the final spec on the wheels ET wise after you've fitted the adaptors?

Looks good! Love the seats  :happy2:

Cheers for the comments guys. Wheels certainly divide opinion but that's cool.

Final ET is 37 or 39. Can't remember exactly. Could do with another 5 mm but I didn't want scrubbage
