Hi Guys I'm in need of some advice please.

I have a mk5 GTi that is remapped to stage 2 (AMD remap) the car has a full s/steel exhaust system with a 200 cell sports cat (new BCS). The exhaust is
sealed and there are definitely no exhaust leaks in the exhaust system.

The car periodically fails on it's readiness, why I do not know? There are no DTC's showing up either which only adds to the mystery. The readiness
appears to fail every 100 miles or so from what I can tell. The car certainly seems to be restored to it's full power everytime I reset the readiness but run's
slugish when not.

It is always the same readiness tests that fail - Exhaust Emissions,Catalyst System & O2 Sensors.

At first I was told by my tuner (AMD Technik) that it was because I had a 100 cell sports cat - which I ditched for the 200 cell cat.
The lambda sensors and MAF have been changed on the car.

Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas as to what my be going on????

Should I be taking the car back to AMD Woking and have them investigate the stage 2 map?

Your problem may just be to do with the second lambda sensor which probably needs spacing out.

No AMD map as I was already on stage 1 with them it seem like the only viable option.

Did AMD woking do the map? If so how, because to my knowledge they dont have a rolling road...

So how did they map it... on the road?

Off the road in the workshop, without the use of rollers.
The car was stationary mate.

Take it to R-Tech or REVO. Stage 2 should not be put on the car without doing some extensive logging either on the road or on a dyno.

Are RTech on par with Revo maps? How much for a stage 2?

Yeah Nick at R-Tech knows these engines inside out. Rtech will probably be about 350ish... REVO will be nearer 600. (I would go and see nick at R-tech and get a custom stage 2 map)
