My short term fix has been to rollback the firmware to 1100 on the RNS510. So far so good, no battery drain in 4 days.

Still no flat battery issues since rolling back the firmware. No SDHC support is a major PITA. But its better than a power drain. Noticed that the RNS shuts down much sooner after turning ignition off.
