Mark thinks he has solved the problem and will be bringing some bits with them to inters to get the problem sorted

I have just emailed them and said I will be there Saturday so if they have a permanent resolution I am happy for them to put it right if it cures the problem. :happy2:

Just received a reply from VWRacing:

Hi Mark,

 

Sorry to hear about the problems with the quickshift.  We have actually seen this happen a couple of times now, only on the Ed30s – is that what you have?  It seems to have a slightly different throw which has put the nylon bushes out in some cases.

 

So we have come up with a revised bush for it which seems to have fixed it once and for all.  We’ll be at GTI at the weekend, Mark will happily put the new bush onto yours for you if you like?  Or more than happy to offer a refund if you’d prefer, but we’re confident this mod will sort it out.

 

Hope that’s OK, come and find us on Saturday at the VWR awning and we’ll get it fixed.

Not wishing to knock anyone or open a can of worms, but the email above says the fault is down to the longer throw of a ED 30
But Marky Mark does not own a ED 30 he has a GTI.  :happy2:

i've been on the phone to mark this morning (about some other bits) and we mentioned this giving i'm running it on the roc, VWR have the bushes and Mark and Sam are at Inters Sat and Sunday, we're going to have a look at mine first think saturday

Having seen what has happened to the standard bush im not convinced having a bigger bush will solve my problem. I will wait and see what they say on Saturday, as if im not happy they have offered me a refund  :happy2:
