GTi meets Autumn
« on: October 08, 2012, 02:47:34 pm »
As the last few morning have been nice, I decided to go out early with my camera and take some shots with my car as the topic. Also trying to be a little more arty and think more about composition and that rule of 3rd's.  I decided to take these as RAW shots to see what I could get after post processing and a little Photoshop work.

I know that what I have done to a few of them is not to everyones taste, but I like to be different!

C+C welcome (please be nice)

All the pics are very nice. They are like an advert for a posh Golf.  :happy2:

But please tell me the pic above was on a private estate with no traffic.  :chicken: Parking there next to a hump back bridge is crazy dangerous.  :scared:

I think I will take that as a compliment - "They are like an advert for a posh Golf".

That bridge is on a minor road and is quiet, so does not get fast through traffic.

Very nice pics indeed, love the Autumn colours creeping in :happy2:

Were these taken at Chatsworth or some such place?

Thanks.  I had to 'assist' with the colours using PS to give them more autumnal look, feel.  I think it worked. As for where they where taken at a little village called Tyringham, Buckinghamshire, which is just down the road from Newport Pagnell.

Maybe it's the colour of you'r car aswell but it looks fine on the 17'' alloys,i always think there a bit small for the mk5 but look great on your's.

.
Very Autumnal colours and warm lighting.

Although you say you Photoshop'd the pics, they don't look as if they have been and that's a very good thing in my opinion. I prefer natural.

Never seen that colour on a GTI before, thought it was a colour only for the standard Golfs! Looks nice though. What's the name of that colour btw?

Ah yes haha I even checked his post to see if he did mention the colour.. just didn't check the signature! Is this the rarest colour of all GTIs then?

Thanks for liking my car and photos.  Judging by the amount of GTi's in this colour, I would have to say no.  I have seen a good few dozen ini this Blue Graphite colour.
