Everyone should try it
« on: October 08, 2012, 07:24:23 pm »
Turned my remap off earlier as car is going away for a few day for development.

I was getting used to my car in its mapped form and thinking I need more power. Turned it back to stock and thought how slow it feels can't wait to get it back and possibly go stage 2

did you notice the mpg worse when you got the car mapped, also what did you pay for the mapping, lots of people got it but im not sure if it effects the service or mot etc, thanks

I only owned the car a week before I mapped it. So didn't notice a difference in mpg but can get 35-38 on a run and 25 local

Im a Revo dealer so a bit bias but I really don't think you will be disappointed. It won't effect the Mot or servicing

The remap is 499 plus vat

i may consider getting it done, heard a few people say it makes the power to foot smoother rather than a bit jumpy, noticed some people saying they want stage 2 and stage 3, cant you just go straight to stage 3 from stock ?
sorry but i am a noob when it comes to engine mods,,, also not sure how far away i would have to go to find somewhere that can do the job as i am in aberdeen

^^^^ literally thousands of posts on mapping/tuning. Have a look through the Performance section on here. You can go to stage 1 but after that you will need to start adding hardware to the car ie Turbo Back Exhaust, Cold Air Intake etc etc.

Over 150 posts on here and you still don't know what a remap involves. Shame on you Scott!
