RNS510 - IOS6 has messed up my Bluetooth :(

Hi all!

Did a quick check on here before posting to see if anyone's had the same issues & couldn't find anything. I recently upgraded my iPhone 4S to IOS6. Ever since my Bluetooth car audio isn't working properly. The "Phone" part all works fine, shows my phone book & I can make all the calls ect as normal.

However it's the "media" part of the RNS510 that is having problems. It used to auto play music from my iPhone as soon as I turned the key in the ignition but now nothing happens at all. It just says "Bluetooth" with everything greyed out, such as play, next track ect.

The RNS plays music from my iPhone through Bluetooth but only if I start playing a track from my iPhone manually. It will continue playing track after track this way but I can't change to the next track through the RNS & it doesn't display the artist or anything?

I managed to get it working like normal once by manually playing a track on my iPhone, turning off the engine, waiting a few minutes & turning the engine back on again, then playing a track from my iPhone again which restored the ability to skip tracks ect through the head unit. But this obviously isn't practical to do every time.

Anyone else had issues with this? Really could use some help.

Worked perfectly fine & normal this morning. Am I seriously the only one with any issues from IOS6?

Try resetting the network only on the phone:

 (general - reset - reset network)

This seemed to have worked, I just have to press play each time on the head unit but apart from that it seems to have restored full functionality, thank you.
