Wheels painted



front subframe out dissembled, washed, powerflex'd and assembled with new parts





Wheels got tires (continental CS3 225/40)



new bearings





new discs



and ...



new water pump and belt for the engine



and a good clean up of the engine







I'm now working on the rear subframe ;)

Powerflex on the rear subframe





rear subframe with new discs and pads





the engine and gearbox came together again





the engine bay in filler and ready for paint



painted 











engine is back where it should be 



front subframe complete 





and the tires are on   :rolleye:

Finally !!!!!
Arrived some of the ordered parts  

Audi S3 wings (they were sandblasted right away )





and in primer





Audi S3 side skirts



NGK spark plugs and I decided to change them with the pencil coils  





the car is striped and ready to go to the paint shop

The car has been partialy assembled







front bumper gudes



New TT fuel cap





disassembled cleaned and assembled the DSG shift mechanism

 



the enterior has been partially assembled





bought 19" wheels for my Audi just to sell them later  :grin:









but then bought this: Audi TT 225 Quattro and everything changed  :P



so next thing a SWAP!!!





1.8T OUT







R32 OUT and SOLD!!!





I bought a new set of belts,gaskets, water pump ... (not all in the picture)



and some aftermarket pieces started arriving like the GT2871R :love:













So engine separated from gearbox...and everything else  :P




and dirty as hell  :surprised:

spent some time truing to wash the gearbox, so here are the results  :laugh:







Now waiting for the 550cc Injectors, and have to source out a good IC  :wink:

Bought and received some parts necessary this build to continue



and the exhaust manifold







and hugging with the Gt2871R





the engine was in a really bad shape so I decided to sandblast the rusted parts



the front was fully sandblasted



then in primer





and painted :love:





I was happy to see that VW is working on updating the parts for their engines (old one steel VS new one aluminium)



all new gaskets



AND...







Also arrived the 550 Bosch Injectors from ECS tuning





so a quick job putting them in





also came the IC





took out the old wiring





one goes OUT and one goes IN  :P

Well the whole engine bay is covered with plastics and stuff, and the engine bay is almost invisible  :happy2:
