Yeah people have had success getting it done under VW corossion warranty.

Looks like some dealers do it without asking too many questions others try and avoid it.

People have even taken dealers to small claims court to get it done.

I put my claim in at the beginning of June, took a bit of to-ing and fro-ing but had both wings replaced and car back beginning of September! Be firm but polite and persistant! and go in armed with the PDF. But only get it out if they start playing up!

As above, there is a huge thread(s) on this topic. There is no real rush as the rust isnt going to spread to other parts of the car, I rang up my local bodyshop dealership, they asked me to bring it in, took several photographs as well as paint depth readings and after they contacted VW HO.

My wing was replaced 100% under goodwill. Very pleased with the results. (obviously)  :P

I got mine done last year with no hassles, you may as well just go straight to your dealers bodyshop because if you phone them they will just ask you to bring the car in for a look anyway.  They will take photos and check your pant depth then send that off to HQ for an answer.  You might get new wings out of it or just resprayed depending on how bad the corrosion is.  Good luck and don't be fobbed off with excuses if they try it on.
