Victim blind or police officer blind? There is clearly a difference between a blind old man and a person who is a credible threat to society armed with a sword unless you are monumentally stupid. I do feel the police officer in question should at the very least no longer be allowed to use a taser, if not lose his job completely.

They surely have 2 warn the person to put down their weapon or face being tasered ? The old guy would maybe not know if was him they were referring to him however you would think that he would have clicked that it was a blind man by this point ! Idiot!

Almost identical.

Remember when Ben Fellows applied to join G4S and part of the test was to tell the different between orange juice, water and milk? They should do that for police officers.

Almost identical....... do one, youd have to be completely brain dead to mistake the two in the street. The guy was like 60 odd ffs. Its not like hes shot him from 100 metres away, tasers are short range and he was shot in the back wtf, wheres the threat there?

What if the guy had a pacemaker or a heart condition? game over :stupid:
