The sensor cover was about £5, the sensor however was about £40.
If you find one make sure it has the adjustment dial intact, skards just needed some good glue on the clip.

Jetta is awesome, a questions, a think somebody had already asked but a couldnt see a reply, The gti valance you fitted, was it a straight swap for the jetta splitter and do you have a part number for it.

Liking the gloss black trim really good vinyl wrapping skills

Thanks for comments Pchende, very kind of you. What you driving? Get some pictures up in new members section.

The Jetta lower front valance is the same but does'nt have the 3 holes that hold the back end of the Gti lower splitter. I just installed a 2nd hand Gti valance and lower splitter that I got in the for sale section here.
I prefer the Gti i version as its textured like my GLi side skirts and rear valance. As far as part numbers goes I dont remember them at this time but will have a look for them and let you know.

Small update, mileage is coming along

And after years of ownership the kids now have a cup holder in the rear, just waiting for the right colour door for it.

Thanks for looking in

Not much of an update, more winter prep. Fitted front and rear mud flaps. The fronts are standard so i had to heat  them and mould round the GLi side skirts and they still bolted on ok.

Difficult pictures to get.
Now waiting for temp to drop to 7 ish before winter go on.

Thanks for looking in.

Some hate flaps ...but I've always found them great at protecting the paintwork especially with larger wheels

Hi again

How do you rate the B12's thinking of getting the same kit for my jetta. Can i ask what size wheels do you run and have you had any rubbing issues since you lowered it

Regards

Paul

No worries Paul, I highly recommend the kit (sportline) for the driving that I do and the F1 assay 2's all-round it works really well. Comfy enough for all types of driving and I have never heard it rubbing or scrubbing on the arches (no need for screw mod on front arches)  I even tow a 600kg trailer tent with a full boot and kids in the back (picture below) Don't forget these are not coilovers and are a set lowering of 35-50mm. I have been thinking about upgrading the rear ARB to see if it improves handling. Talk to Graeme from GNJ motorsport on here, thats where mine came from. The wheels are 18" BBS VZ's with 225/40's. Hope this helps.

No thats great, i have been talking to him, a think it was your build thread i got his details from. Bit theres nothing better then asking someone who has the same car as me for first hand info on what they are like to live with. I am hoping these are slightly better at absorbing the bumps than coilovers. As i can stand the harshness. The fixed drop doesn't bother me as my car needs to stay at a practical height for various reasons

Do you have anymore side on pics so i could see how the car sits? Really appreciate the info.

Paul
