I'm running goodyear eagle f1 assy's on mine too!
Best performing tyre i've ever used.

Notable mention to vredestein ultrac sessanta,
great for the money but there reputation is growing, along with their price in ireland  :sad1:

Bridgestone RE050a. They're ok. Not noisy. Grip is good. Wet not bad.

I'm using Hankook Ventus v12 evo k110 all round, delighted with them.

Pilot Sport 3's here. I paid £120 each inc fitting which I thinks a good deal.

Grip is nice and progressive but traction is an issue in the cold and damp, noticeably worse than the summer months. I guess traction is always going tyo be an issue with a mapped ed30 though.

One thing I really did notice was the quietness and ride quality after the Bridgestone RE50's that were on before..

Latest Pirelli p zero has just won the group tyre test in EVO magazine. Tyres all tested on a front drive hatch too..

I'd go for those if I were you.

J

I have these and they are excellent..  :happy2:

I've just had the goodyears fitted all round too. £120 a corner fully fitted. Nice tyres. I especially like the big rim protecting lip they have. That could save some scrapes on the vunerable Monza edges!

P-Zero Rosso on the front and Falken FK452's on the rear.

Pirellis are a great and extemely quiet for 18's, had to get something a bit cheaper (£90ea as opposed to £120ea) so went for the Falkens and to be fair cant fault them either and will be sticking them on the front once the p's have expired.

The car had Bridgestone RE050A's on when I got it and although they were a superb tyre the noise was just about unbearable.

I'm running eagle f1s on both my monzas and my ch's

But when cleaning my ch's yesterday I have found that all 4 tyres have split on the inside

I noticed that the front ones had done this when I fitted my suspension last month and put the monzas back on.

I thought this might of been due to the wheels being stored by the previous owner but a quick search has shown lots of cases of Goodyear tyres splitting.

I have sent an email to Goodyear to see what they say about the splits.

I was very happy with the grip in wet and dry with the eagle f1 s but unless Goodyear offer me a good explanation for the splits I will be returning to pilot sports next time I replace my tyres

That info about them splitting is worrying but I've never had any problems with mine. Were the splits due to being poorly stored?

Vred ultras here

to be removed and replaced by my favourite road tyres when worn which are The continental, good years or hopefully supersports if they ever release them in our size.

I'm not sure, that was my original thoughts but there are far too many posts on various forums with the same thing happening.

I'm hoping to find out if it could of been a bad batch or something that has been corrected by Goodyear. As I have a set on my monzas and another set of 19" eagle f1's ready to fit to my ch's.

They all went on the inside of the tyre which is impossible to see unless you take the wheel off

Green cap? Are your tyres filled with nitrogen? Do you get any pressure loss at all or any advantages of running with nitrogen?

Pirelli P Zero's all the way for me; great tyres and plenty of grip when you need it (my view). Just brought two new front tyres from Kwik-fit and got them for less than I paid for the same tyres at the same place 18 months ago! How does that work????
