RCD510 and Bluetooth
« on: October 22, 2012, 03:23:37 pm »
I'm on the verge of buying an RCD510, but before I do is there somewhere I can get a run down of whats needed for bluetooth? Are all the units the same its just a case of having a BT module? And if so is there a specific module thats needed?

Thanks!

Some RCD510 have an issue with some of the newer phone kits, so best to check

7P6 and 5K0 are the cheapest option
729b is the most expnsive
I can supply 5K0, 7P6 and 729B

and you can also use the Fiscon

Thanks Eddie - could you give me an idea on the price range? It will be for an iPhone4S (one day an iPhone 5..)

How can I check which version the RCD is?

Thanks again

I gave up in the end as it worked out cheaper for me to get an aftermarket unit..

I'm thinking the same, I've already got a Parrot kit but the integrated would probably give a cleaner look, plus I reckon I can get some back from the Parrot... it's just whether the integrated kit works with the iphone 4s / 5..

Did you find anything about the compatibilty?
