New lad from sunderland
« on: October 23, 2012, 11:53:17 pm »
Just thought I'd put a quick intro up as I've been on the forum a little while now and got some great info and I'm finally picking my gti up on friday.  :driver:

I'll be putting another thread up to try and get some advice on what the best starting performance modifications are to make soon.

Here is a quick car history, no real performance cars here  :sad1:

First car mk2 jetta 1.3

mk2 golf 1.6

mk3 golf 1.8

mk3 ibiza 1.6

BMW e30 1.8iS

B6 Passat 2.0 tdi

Maybe some pictures of my gti will intrest you's.

So yesterday I traded my standard passat in and got my self a half decent mk5 gti with 35k on it and so far I  it. Its totally stock apart from having anthracite wheels  but even now I thing it sound good ^_^

Pics

and kind of how I want it to end up but with 350-400bhp. Not really going all out on looks with this mainly want it to handle well and be fast  :D.

haven't been on dub north east for a while--normally am on here or vagcars northeast--I bought the ck's of a member on here they were the ballbearingfinifsh ones but after a year of being on the car the water was getting under the laquer so had them redone at the wheelspecialist at newcastle
