Polar FIS Advanced : WHITE and COLOR cluster videos (final beta v300b8)

Not sure if anyone else has tried it but I just updated to the latest version as some of the new things listed sounded quite good. I found this update didn't work with the red MFD. The most recent update for this is 2.7 which from what I can gather just adds a few more parameters.

A few folk on the polar forum have reported issues with this update on red colour display hence my reluctance to update atm.

IMPORTANT : This update is only for clusters with WHITE and COLOR (Mk6)
IMPORTANT : If you have RED cluster, you not need to install it.

Hi to all,

Will try to clarify some doubts asked here :)

AUDI SUPPORT

We will start to work in AUDI cars in 1-2 weeks, so is very possible next big update will be added this brand.
Our idea was start with RED CLUSTER (totally supported), now we added WHITE and COLOR CLUSTER (beta was launch this week)
The next platform updated will be AUDI (as i know exists 2 kinds of FIS displays, we will go step by step)

Users who have this product, simply need flash with the correct firmware for his vehicle, you not need any extra cable or hardware.
And upgrade process takes 1 minute with Internet Explorer and a good internet connection (all is made via usb cable)

FIRMWARE V030b1 UPDATE

This firmware has been launched exclusive for WHITE and COLOR clusters.
If you have a RED CLUSTER car, you must keep in 027 version.
Now exists 2 different firmwares in support and i clearified in the name of firmwares (take a look)

Firmware for cars with RED FIS
[PF03]FIS_Adv_v0.2.7(Red_dot)(EN_ES_DE_CZ_FR_IT_PT_DA_RU_SL)

Firmware for cars with WHITE FIS and COLOR FIS

In few days we will update with some nice features for RED FIS cluster.

- Chronometers (for measure of speed 0 to 100, racing, best laps, etc ...)
- Multidesktop support (configure from 0 to 10 virtual desktops)
- And more interesting things ...

Richn83 on here used to be the UK stockist but I think that he no longer deals with them.
afaik there is no hardware difference between the Polar Fis+ Advanced units, just the firmware used depending on what platform you're using.

Yes, i saw this thread and i decided to enter, for if someone have any doubt reply fast.

About the next RED FIS update, will be in the next days.
We are improving some issues reported this last weeks from users, because we was busy finishing WHITE FIS firmware.

You are right, hardware is the same.
You simply must choose correct firmware for use with your car.

I am running a 2012 Skoda Octavia VRA with the white display - I am guessing that this is the same as the Mk6 Golf GTI display. Can you confirm that this is true and that the same functionality is there please?
