didn't know you liked EDM Robin? I had you down more as a rocker into Slash and AC/DC maybe??

Am not too keen on the vocal in Big Sky but the Ben Gold mix is quite good  :happy2:

I'm currently listening to a lot of Andrew Weatherall's favourite music. He's the most innovative British DJ of the last 25 years, was heavily involved with the start up and progression of UK house music through Shoom, Junior Boy's Own, Sabresonic, and the Two Lone Swordsman.

Albums I'm currently really into of his:

Fabric 19
Nine O'Clock Drop
Masterpiece - Andrew Weatherall (3 disc Ministry of Sound release)
The sabres of Paradise - Haunted Dancehall
Stay Down - 2 Lone Swordsman
Watch the Ride - Andrew Weatherall

The music is so innovative, and whilst a lot of the above are him mixing the work of others, a huge amount of the tracks have been revolutionised by his own remixes of them, or are tracks of his own production. He's my absolute DJ hero, and was almost single handedly resposnisble for getting Indy-Dance going in the early 90's with heavily reworked tracks by James, Primal Scream, My Bloody Valentine, The Cure, Stone Roses etc.

Fun Golf: 2016 mk7 R DSG 3 door. Work Golf: 2015 mk7 1.4 TSI GT ACT 5 door.
Gone but not forgotten : mk2 Golf GTI 16v, mk4 Golf V6 4Motion, mk5 GTI Storm Developments Stage 1, mk5 GTI Revo Stage 1, BMW 330ci, Skoda Octavia VRS Revo Stage 2, BMW Z4 Sdrive35i.

ahhh a man who can appreciate all music  :happy2: i used to listen to brit pop (blur, oasis, dodgy) then got into rock and heavy metal and have been to see Metallica etc but then got into electronic dance music and it bit me and i bought decks and started to dj. I think you should open minded and be able to appreciate lots of music. At my wedding last year i was in charge of all the music and wanted classical followed by the overtones and michael buble followed by some user friendly dance music

I think it's a pity when people only appreciate the music of their generation - It's as if they only appreciate it by association with what they were up to at that time (usually being single and hunting girls or when first in love).

Good music is good music if it still moves your body or your soul - It should always play your emotions from aggressive rock to tearful ballads.

I must admit I think I've got a very varied music taste, pretty much changed with what was popular at the time but still love it all now, anything from 80's rock, old skool hip hop, hardcore rave and house, brit pop/rock, indie through to modern guitar bands and folk music....hell I even love a bit of last night of the proms!!!!!!
Laser Blue 3dr No 209683, Leather, Monza II's and a few other goodies...........GONE but not forgotten......now in an A4 S-Line Avant 170tdi......god I miss the Gti.

Top album and band. Not got Rubber Factory, any good?

I've been listening to a fair bit of Wilco recently, as well as the Keys. Pretty much the antithesis of them live as there's about 8 of them on stage!

Nice guitar work on that Wilco song  :notworthy:

[Not as good as Prince though!]

^ A song written by Beatle George Harrison (whose son looks scarily like him!).

That performance still raises the hairs on my back! Prince is a genius and master of style.

This unforgettable and award-winning video from Iceland, conceived by and supervised by the musical group, Sigur Ros and the filmmaker, Agust Jacobsson, features the Perlan special-needs theatre group acting out a simple but beautiful play about the elements.

"The word "Yugen", found only in the Japanese language is defined as: an awareness of the Universe that triggers emotional responses too deep and mysterious for words. Sigur Ros has captured "Yugen".
