Look very similar to be honest and you wouldn't notice it wasn't OE if you didn't know.
Only slight criticism is it lets a little light out of the ring into the actual cluster but that really is just me being picky,

Looking good.

Did mine last week (not on yet) but not overly happy with how bright the bulbs are to look at, as opposed to the more ambient output of neighbouring bulbs, if you know what I mean?

Got some red coated bulbs coming to try. Also experimented with W3W bulbs but they get fairly warm too.
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

try pulling the bulbs a couple or mm out of the housing make the bright light more of a ambient or even a dot of black or red paint on the end of the bulb?

The bulbs just came (10 off one guy same as 2 off most others  :stupid:).
The red has a very subtle change in tone (you'd really have to be looking to notice it compared to a clear one). What I like most is the red doesn't give that white reflection around the fog/reverse housing.

Will probably get them on next week, got some red high temp silicone as the glue I put on to try just melts after 5 minutes.

And like you, I am in no rush to do this again!!

Nice one, you'll see the subtle change and the lack of white spray is a bonus.

I'm not overly happy with the delicate way the wires are soldered on, one of my lights flickers with slight wiggling of the wires. I've bought some shallow T10 bulb holders (eBay 380351290510) in the hope that these provide a more reliable connection, plus I think using them means they won't protrude so much at the back.

If they are I'll expect a refund as advertised as T10.

Not here yet though.

Do you mean the 286 bulbs, normally found in Vauxhall dash's?

Sockets came, not had time to do anything with them yet, but I think it's promising.
