HD MIX
«
on:

I have over 1000 songs on my HD and have put one song at the root level to allow mixing of the whole HD and the rest in album folders.
The trouble is it seems to play the same songs when I get back in the car, even tho they are from different folders.
I have read that the RNS is not good at remembering what it has played. Has anyone got any tricks or tips to improve this.

Mine does not do that, it plays random very well and pretty much never repeats a song. I does however play the track in the root folder every time the unit has been shut down and restarted. Is this what you are talking about?

Mine plays the root one when restarted as well, but then tends to play the same songs again.
When you say "The track in the root folder" is it in a folder, as mine isn't in a folder.
Wonder if that would make a difference.

Not a folder perse, it's just called the root folder where all the other folders are in.
Very odd as mine does no repeat songs at all. Do you only have the one song in the root?

Yes, just the one song in the root.
I have a 20 min drive to work each morning and I find myself skipping songs as I heard them the morning before.
Very strange.

It is very odd. You do have the Mix setting on right?

Mine does the same but I have no folders. Memory card was empty when I started and then just drag and drop the tracks I want onto it.

Gonna start from scratch again and put a new song as the root and see what happens.
