R32 rear bumper help
« on: October 29, 2012, 09:36:42 pm »
Thinking of going with the R32 rear bumper but wanting to keep GTI exhaust lay out.

Does anyone have the part numbers/prices of the 2 reflectors and 'exhaust trim' to keep exhaust to left and not the centre exit?

Cheers

Not sure on the reflectors but they are quite cheap.

As for the insert, you have 2 options. You can get one from srs-tec in germany or one from Osir in the USA. I was going to get my quad trim from srs-tec but I managed to get a matte carbon osir one 2nd hand. I can't find a link to the Osir one on their site anymore but it was $300+

srs-tec 169 euro:

fab5freddy has bought one of these and has said its a good fit but I've not seen any pics of it. Heres the thread where he said he's happy with it http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,48484.msg557599.html#msg557599

On mine I had to cut a part off the bumper for my trim and exhaust to fit, I would think you would have to do the same as the stock touches the r32 rear. Here's a pic with my excellent Photoshop skills  showing where to cut lol

hope this helps mate  :happy2:
