Errrrr sorry to go against the grain but that could have ended in complete disaster on at least 8 occasions in those 2 minutes.

That aircraft is VERY short of excess power hovering over an uneven surface landing in an uncontrolled site with dogs and un briefed public approaching the aircraft and tail rotors running.

Typical f*ck yeah instructor too...

Surprised nobody died to be honest

Yea i did think it was a tad risky! But if he had the confidence then why not and you can always look at something after and say that it was to dangerouse but it was all fine and nothing went wrong!  Still pretty cool

I did think that the guys approaching the helicopter were risking it by not coming in from the side...I was always instructed to approach choppers from the side due to the rotor disc tilt....but it is a Robinson R22 which don't really fly if the wind speed is slightly stronger than a gnats fart.

Helicopters look so dam cool never been in one and my sister boyfriend whos a 747 pilot for ba and got a heli licence gonna take me up in one next month can't wait
