« on: November 01, 2012, 08:00:25 pm »
hey all, hope everyone is well....

as we all know, i have lost my manual, could somebody please let me know what this warning light is??

also, does anyone know where perhaps a pdf for the manual is, or just a list of what all the warning lights mean?

you guys are right, simple mod........think that you dont have it, and then all of a sudden realise you do! no effort required and its free.......

now i do have a problem, no manual means i dont really know how to use it, mine looks slightly different to the picture above, i cant quite figure out how to set it everytime, i have it working but it doesnt always work when i press the button to set it - does it only work at a certain speed or something?  also once i have it activated, i am able to increase the speed using the stalk but not decrease it.......also is there anywhere i can view exactly what speed it is being set at (without the speedometer) ie - quickly set it up to 70 from 60 and not have to focus on the speedo whilst it sets, if that makes sense?

this is a vague understanding:

above 25mph
press the lower button of the 2 to set (L).

pressing the higher button (H)while its set seems to speed up 2mph and pressing the lower button (L) slows it down by 1mph (just a feeling)

braking or use the toggle switch (T) to cancel the cruise.

If you had the cruise set at 70mph you come to a stop at some lights pressing the higher button (H) once over 25mph will take you back upto 70mph.

I have a dsg car and that how mine works.
