Coil Recall Done Today - Service Plan Question
« on: November 02, 2012, 09:39:02 pm »
Evening,

I've had my gti for 2 months now and loving it. I got the car back today fron VW (citygate in Ruislip)  for the coil recall, which took an hour and happy it's done.

At the same time I was looking into the service plans. I have a 06 plate with 74k on the clock. I have been quoted £1,385.20 for a 5 year plan. Not sure that is worth it?? I have read some post saying they paid £299 for 2 or 3 years (maybe that was the past)

What do you guys reakon? Should I call another VW dealer.

I think the 2 year plans are £325 now, so you'd be better of just buying one of those and renewing it every 2 years...
