Hankook S1 Evo
« on: November 01, 2012, 04:45:39 pm »
With tyre labelling being introduced today I thought I'd look up how the Hankook performed - according to the label it'll outbrake my CSC3s in the wet and has a fuel efficiency rating B, as well as placing in a lot of tyre comparison tests and being relatively good value to boot.

Is there anything this tyre doesn't do? It's definitely what I'm getting next when my baby needs new shoes.

I run the V12 Evo's.  Great tyre at a great price.  Cant really fault them on the vRS.

I did the same thing this morning when I saw the news article about tyre labels.

I've got the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110 on my car and am amazed at how good they are.  Will be putting more. Of the same on when they need replacing.

Another here running V12's. After Alex showed me how the VRS handles I thought I'd take a punt and I must say I'm very impressed.

I never thought much of Hankook tbh. They came on a new transit connect I had a few years back I only got 15k before they needed replaced.

I now have a new transporter which came with Hankooks on as well, it is going in today to have the front 2 replaced having covered 38k and they are not down to the indicator yet!

is the S1 significantly better than the V12?

Can all these tyre labels now be viewed on an internet site per chance?

I've never tried the S1.  Just know the v12 is great.
