Thanks for the comments.. Yeah it's a totally different car from the Rs but the Golf is also a great car to drive.

I've been looking at some genuine xenons in the for sale section from silent dubber but can not Pm him yet??

Looks very nice mate  :happy2:

Not so much in the way of mods but do you know if the cam follower has been changed at all? If not it will be worth the £30 to change it  :happy2:

My ED30 is my first VW as well although if i could of afforded it i would of loved to have had a MK2 RS  Any pictures of your old car?

Hi mate, not sure about the cam followers but does have full service history with the car.

Here's a few pics of my Rs.. Had to sell one of my toys as I'm moving house..

And pics of my Escort Cosworth

MK2 Rs and an Escort Cossie, barsteward!!! Very, very nice mate  :happy2:

As for the cam follower i very much doubt it has been changed, not recognised as part of a service as far as i know.See here http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,63787.0.html and here http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,8339.0.html
