Mmmmm. Interesting. Perhaps it's because I upgraded my sensors and the module to OPS. It is a different module number, that's probably the reason then. Sorry chaps, thought it was on the radio as I changed the sensors over when I got the car so never knew any different.

I'm running 5230 firmware on my H revision, coming from 42** the only noticeable difference was radio text...

would be interesting to know if there were any internal hardware changes

Is there a huge difference between the versions? I realise DAB is a new and desirable addition and the screen changed to a better type of LED at some stage, but otherwise what's the difference? Faster processor?

They start from below £400 on eBay and keen to know what's the difference, beside being newer of course, once the firmware has been upgraded.

Thanks

Hi Eddie,

Do you have any of the DAB RNS510's in or available at the moment?

I'm after swapping my version H from my MK6 golf (2012) for a DAB capable version..

How do i get in touch with you, I heard you live in Hull, I'm also in Hull...

Not 100% sure whether the aerials in my car are capable of DAB (in rear tailgate as far as i know???)

Thanks

Really?.. i'm sure i read on another forum it was Hull...

Damn, would still like to swap my RNS510 for a DAB capable version, spend WAAAYYYY too many hours in the car, and would like a non 'SatNav Systems' (OEM) solution to DAB.

Well it says NR31 xxx in his profile.

Unless Hull has moved it can't be in Norfolk.

Eddie is in Great Yarmouth.  Definitely.  He might not be there at this very second but NR31 is his postal address. Not Hull!  Do a google search of NR31 and it'll bring up Norfolk.

Hull is HU postcode.
Just did the search.
H looks a little like N on the keyboard. R could be mistaken for a U I s'pose.......!!
