Its "Free"... you have paid for it. :wink:

 You need the G2 to remove the G1 once its cured.

Just need to grow a pair and put it on the windscreen now...........after reading this below on a website....... No one has ever described ME as competent so I'm stuffed :laugh:  :signLOL:

G4 Glass Nano Polish

G4 utlises consistent nano sized abrasives and a citric acid cleaning agent to provide fast and agressive glass and ceramic cleaning to remove contaminants that glass cleaners fail to remove.

What's special about Gtechniq G4 Glass Nano Polish? G4 does exactly what it says on the tin. It remove all contaminants from glass or ceramic surfaces which are not removed during normal cleaning process without any damage to the substrate. G4 is easy to use and is exceptionally fast. We recommend using G4 prior to G1 or G3 application on any glass other than on new cars.

How do I use this product?

Shake the bottle well

Apply directly onto a buffing cloth (we recommend a cotton towel type cloth)

Work the product in a circular motion

If the product dries on the surface, dampen with water to reactivate

Remove excess product with a damp cloth

Yep... its easy to apply. If in doubt polish the glass twice because you get loads of polish.

You put the G1 on with the cotton pads... add a small amount to the pad and apply in small circular motion.

Do windscreen first. then work around the car back to the windscreen and apply a 2nd coat to the windscreen. Wait 5-10 mins then apply one final coat to the windscreen.

Wait another 10mins until its cured (gone frosted) then use the G2 to remove the G1.

You dont need much... the thinest of coats is all you need.

I was shocked too... when i bought the C5 wheel sealant.... 30 quid...  :surprised:

Well I spent the afternoon applying the G1 ClearVision Smart Glass rain repellant and WOW it's ability to do what it says is incredible. Even went and interrupted Mrs MC and the shopping channels to show her what it does! (Even got I thumbs up  :happy2:)

After cleaning the car and paying particular attention to the windows i applied the G4 then did as Rich described in Post 34 and applied 3 coats to the windscreen at 15 minute intervals and just one coat everywhere else, removed residue and buffed like a nutter. Takes a bit of effort but well worth it, bring on the rain and ice now!!

If I was any good at posting videos I would post one but I'm not so take my word for it.

Just a reminder to those who thought about buying the Gtechniq kit to do so, well worth a few quid.

Happy days mate. Gonna get some tonight and give it a whirl at the weekend. It will be dry and warm now you've put it on!

Sod's law - frozen up here for a couple of weeks, I shell out £660 on winter tyres and its been positively tropical since!
