My shadow blue gt-tdi sport daily and the mk2 weapon!
« on: February 16, 2013, 05:28:36 pm »
So here is my daily driver, she is a gt-tdi sport 170, it came with the optional 18's from the factory along with full heated leather, sat-nav, dual climate, folding mirrors. There is more but I'm not sure what is extras and what comes standard!

So far the only mods I have done to it is phase 2 remap with DPF delete and I also had the EGR deleted last week!

My plan is to keep it fairly OEM with a few subtle mods. Not 100% sure on ride height yet but if anything I'll go for H&R 35mm springs, but still haven't decided as I love the way it drives at the moment!

Enough of my jibber jabber, time for pics! (not the best as it hasn't been clean with good enough weather to get some decent pics since ive had it!

Will try and get some decent pics up ASAP. :happy2:

Cheers dude, the wheels go so well with the colour!

Got my EGR deleted a month or too back, it made the car drive completely different! The turbo spools up twice as fast and from lower revs so i can now potter around below 1500 rpm using little fuel :D.

Went up to UD last weekend and got from Exeter to Telford on less than 1/4 of a tank so really happy about that! And I came back with some numberplate holders and wind deflectors, the on Tuesday my pressed plates turned up.
So I gave her a clean last night and fitted my new goodies.

I'm thinking of mounting the rear plate a little higher, what do you guys think?

Really happy with how the front plates sits, was worried the holders wouldn't bend round well.

Not too keen on the look of the wind deflectors but I need them as without them and the windows open rain pisses in off the roof like someone is taking a piss on your lap!

Now for the bad part :(, reversed into the bank up at cheddar gorge, someone was going sideways and I got distracted. Damage isn't too bad but still heartbreaking as this is the only damage on the whole car!

Comments and opinions welcome :D.
