No  :stupid:

Not had a chance, been back to work this week, Monday I was OK with a crutch and the rest of the week I've been without a crutch. Hurts when I walk, but I can manage.

I'm going to try get in for tomorrow, see if he can prescribe me some of this allopurinol.

You'll need blood testing for elevated uric acid level to prove you do have gout before you'll get allopurinol.
Without traction power is nothing!

+1. Allopurinol helps with future attacks, not current attacks. It can also precipitate gout when first used. Gout bloods are done around six weeks after the attack.

You still do not have a diagnosis or treatment until you see someone. It could still be something else like a fracture (albeit unlikely).
