down on power 2005 gti

hi,not mine but my mates gti is way down on power,it is mapped to 270bhp,all been well for 2 years but now its gutless,vagcom shows no faults...apart from the map car has forge diverter,any advise welcome....

The piston of the forge dv can stick so checking this and relubing may help.

Apart from that you'll really need live vcds logging of at minimum, boost requested vs actual, fuel rail pressure requested vs actual, wastegate duty cycle and CF for all cylinders.
Without traction power is nothing!

i allready replaced the fuel pump rocker as the fuel pressure was low,the boost isnt quite reaching the requested,no leaks....could the turbo be worn? 75k car

i found the forge partially siezed today,so have ordered a service kit,one of the o rings was swollen and there was plenty of crap in there,hope its cured!!

i had a similar problem and used the service kit which was great but also had to change the n75 valve as mine was the older version that comes with the forge diverter so tghe new one which is slightly uprated solved my problems :happy2:
