Best machine polisher?
« on: November 08, 2012, 09:19:29 am »
Hi
I want to get a machine polisher so i can detail my own car. I beleive you can get a resonable one for around the £80 mark but there is so many to choose from. Can anyone recommend one. I only really want to get one to get rid of the swirl marks in my shadow blue golf.

cheers in advance  :happy2:

Covered before but better to get a dual action polisher and spend a bit more to get one with a kit (pads and sample polishes).

I have a g220.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Meguiars G220 DA is a very good machine.
However it is advised to buy a scrap panel and have a practice first, better safe than sorry ;-)

If you fancy stepping up in both quality and usability (it is a DA and a forced rotation DA) then I have a Makita for sale c/w all the pads needed to get you going, just add polish.

Granted it’s not quite £80, but then it is a lot better machine than those listed above, the advert is here:
