metal tyre valves - pressure sensors?
« on: November 10, 2012, 12:37:32 pm »
I need a new valve as one has become damaged.

I have on board pressure warning, do I have special valves or are they just normal.

Thanks

(17" Monzas by the way!)

The factory pressure warning works off the abs sensors measuring rotation I believe from reading on here previously. I believe there are 2 types of monza wheel and I'm sure one type was a special valve... Could be wrong tho but it's unrelated to pressure either way

Yup, the early Monza 2 rims had a special valve that you had to get from VW.
