Did you ever find why you was down in power dude? Or do you think it's because of the DSG?

Had the car health checked when serviced and no issues whatsoever.  The only thing they could put it down to was summer settings on the Revo setup.  She's going well now after my new settings on the new stage 2+ map B9T6F5
Running consistently between 4.04 and 4.10 0-60 with the VI monitor and the midrange feels a lot stronger with the new map so need to test the quarter mile again.

GIAC were out racing on Friday morning, so Regal had to close before they got back (US time) :sad1:
Will have to wait now as I'm abroad next week unless they can do it for me on Monday.  I'm probably going to use their stage 2 map.

Hope they get your dsg map sorted. Mucho excited for ya  :happy2:

Will give u a shout when sorted, I'm sure you'll want to come out for a spin

You'll love the stage 2 GIAC DSG map. I know I keep singing it's praises over the phone, but it really is THAT good. :happy2:

Anybody here from the Southampton area???

Sitting in Regal at the moment waiting to see whether they can apply the GIAC DSG map.

Log files have to be sent Stateside to see whether they can write something for me, currently they have nothing for my DSG code

My DSG box was a slightly earlier revision to Hurdy's, but GIAC were still able to provide Stage 2 code. It just took them a couple of days to send a different flash back :happy2:

Justin I flashed Gaz's (Invisiblekid)'s car last week with a DSG stage 2 Giac file and the difference over stock is night & day in every driving mode, If your staying Revo and arnt planning big turbo then that's all you'll need, you'll love it mate promise !

Hard for me to say really as I only dove the car for about 2/3 weeks as standard and before the R I was driving a manual. The best feature for me is just the speed and precision at which I can shift now. Obviously you've got the other features such as increased shift points & torque limit and no kick down, but when driving in manual with paddles the shift is just so much quicker and very smooth. By contrast the stock DSG felt sluggish and I guess clunky, if that's the right phrase.

With the new map the box just felt 'right'. Like Steve says the difference is very noticeable and well worth the outlay IMO.
