The GTI rear valance has to be recommended,. I have seen a few tdI's with rear valance painted and personally think the rear still looks pants without exhaust sticking out the back. It was one of the best mods I did, looks totally oem but looks like a different car from the back. Why you not keen on changing to a gti box?

It all depends on whether you want to stay with the "clean" no exhaust look or not.

If you do then you can colour code your existing lower valance. other options include R32 rear with "clean look" insert or the others ive linked to below. I've looked for other bumpers but can't find any but im sure other companies do offer solutions. Other options include a new exhaust then go from there as this will open up the options depending on what exhaust you go for.

Cheers for the replies, I like the gti/exhaust option but at the moment I am preferring to keep things as original as possible (less to declare on insurance). I have seen the Votex and Ed30 valances but not sure where to get the votex one from so ill keep my eyes open on fleebay.

Will a no cut out Ed30 valance go straight on my bumper?

heres a votex that just aded on ebay, I don't think it sold so you could send him an offer

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/vw-golf-mk5-mkv-genuine-votex-rear-bumper-brand-new-/181005518122?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2a24c5052a

They never made a no exhaust cut out Ed30 lower bumper as the ed30's exhaust is on show. For a non cut out ed30 one you would have to look at after market ones such as srs tec one I posted above. Any oem one would fit straight on, some aftermarket ones may require modification.
