The Beetle needed 64 hours of welding to make it solid (that was just the body shell!) unfortunately, my suggestion of binning it and starting with a fresh shell fell on deaf ears (it was her first car.... :rolleye: )

It'll be a mild custom when it's finished, with a motorsport theme more than likely... it'll stay blue and have something pokey under the decklid!
