Also with the rust mate, if its all original paint, VW's come with a 12 year bodywork warranty so its worth taking to VW to see if they will do it under warranty.  I got a very tiny bit on one arch that I need to see if they will do it under warranty when I get round to it

I don't think VW will touch it as we found out that the previous owner has cut away the lip on both front arches to fit the wheels

what lip? you meant that plastic stuff that goes under the arch....if so i'm abit worried mine won't be covered then
