The chaps at Storm Developments have tested them all on the MK5 GTi, and found no significant gains, only losses from some. I'll stick with my Pipercross panel filter at Stage 2 based on their advice.

Robin & Romany (Romocop) both gained 15bhp from a twintake on th same dyno (JKM).

Good enough proof for me that the twintake works

i've had the itg which imo looks untidy, forge twintake, and evoms. Evoms imo looks the best and also performs best. Great price too at £285 delivered from regal. I'm sure there's a few on here that will agree.

I was listening in to a conversation a few weeks ago between some lads that owned tuning Co's that specialised in Ford and Renault and their general feeling was that it is totally hit and miss and its a hell of a lot of money to spend and run the risk of only getting some nice noise or even at worse case power loss, one lad swore by panel filters and said on some cars even the oem ones performed better, on his 400bhp Cosworth he has a performance panel filter and has drilled some holes in the air box for better flow.

Agreed. Mine flows almost 300g/s, so no doubt about flow potential for most.

This happened recently whereby until you had 10 posts it wasn't there for some reason, maybe its that. Should be along the top menu bar between "Gallery" and "Profile"......

Dont get me wrong, the forge twintakes look awesome. but £400+ for very max of 15HP (at top rev range)

As most of my driving is 0-70 Mph, which do you guys recommend then. as i only do motor wat driving once a week.

I didn't realise you had the evoms too. There's a few things about the fitting design that are a bit poo if you ask me.
