some nice parts here
« on: November 12, 2012, 02:15:50 pm »
just some links to some small parts I bought lately so people know the quality
first of the correct sized rabbit for your rear next to gti symbol, looks very oem and sticks good
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251177179127?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

next up carbon sticker which goes on very well and seems secure

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320989866197?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

next a rabbit badge for steering wheel, looks good and fits snuggly but I left neutral feedback due to the double sided tape pre attached to it is not strong enough so seller recommended blue tack  :surprised:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/140865836921?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

next and only bought yesterday so don't know the quality but the price was great and one bid won it, a chrome mirror switch which looks very oem
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181020961052?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
( note this guy has multiple listings as he has more than one of these but be fast as I think 4 are still not finished yet, there is none on a bin price and all auctions but as I said my first bid was on the opening price of £11.99 and that won it, my top bid was £25 so great as the part looks worth it, just search for his other listings from the link )

lastly I bought a complete set of led lights for car interior including the number plate lights from this guy, not this product link as it is only for a single light but use the link to contact him if you want a complete set.
he has a thread on our forum for complete install instructions as all the diff bulbs are not part numbered and I know quite a lot of people on this forum have fitted them and very happy,,, just e-mail him and ask for complete set prices if you wish,,,,, in the region of £25 - £30 so I bought 2 sets just in case a bulb goes in the future although he said I don't need the second set - but at these prices I bought 2 just in case, haven't fitted them yet but great service and he will give you the link for fitting instructions,,,, all bulbs are also meant to be error free so rock on  :happy2:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/230701471803?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

hope this thread helps maybe a few people as finding quality parts is a bit hit and miss

Any pics?
How do the carbon badge stickers look? Are they easy to get on neatly?

I have brought the carbon badge stickers. They are abit fiddly to get on just making sure they are on correctly. But lasted for ages. I was very impressed with them

Nice one Scott! Coming along bud.  :happy2:

Would it not be easier to get a large (ish) piece of carbon vinyl such as 3M Di Noc, remove the chrome VW emblem and wrap the underneath, just putting that out there for your consideration. :happy2:

As for the LED bulbs, £20 for a complete interior set and plate bulbs, dozens of peeps have them (including me) with no problems from a chap called Matt, here is a huge thread....

That camera thing is ultra cool. Nice one

Why do people put Nurburgring stickers on their cars? I've seen a few and can't figure it out. Is it because they like the track or something?

so many stickers n stuff out there, just adds a bit of personalisation, and they are subtle as well,,,,

as for the comment on cleaning the car, man I know but pics where taken after 140 mile trip getting the parts fitted, bad nights sleep, kids on holiday, piss cold watching parts getting fitted etc etc etc,,,, school back tomorrow so clean on its way but due to current technology here it is just for you dude  :happy2:

Sticker shows you've been! Never been to the Ring but when I go I will proudly display my map/tag on the Eddy. Only one I have is Spa, half peeled off so need a new one!  :sad1:

Sticker shows you've been!

Really? There must be quite a few Nova SR's burning around that track then!

Have you been Scott? If not MC will be around soon to peel that sticker off your car (and tealeaf your reversing camera)!
