cheers jacko

Just found out that my xenon look headlights aren't gonna turn up until april :( I'm still gonna get them but it free's up some money for me this month so I'm unsure if I should get both rear quarter in polycarbonate more than 50% lighter than the stock windows, or if I should buy the superpro anti lift kit both around £160.

Been a while since my last update, but here is the latest.

This week I finally got to fit my airlift performance and autopilot v2 set up fitted to the car  . I have to say I am extremely impressed with how well it handles it is a million times better than what I expected and more importantly better than the stock gti suspension   I was going to purchase an anti lift kit for the car but with the air ride on it hardly lifts at all on hard acceleration and has massively reduced wheel spin as a result. I have to say a big thanks to vik at design4 for helping me decide on which kit and the help he gave whilst I was fitting it   .

Only one very dirty picture as I have had no time at all since UD to clean it  .

Sat next to ryan's 20vt mk2 that weighs only 780kg

I still need to paint the wheels and fiddle with how it sits.

looks great need some better pics and some pics of the install!  :congrats:

Hope to see it driving around sunderland, i was looking at air with autopilot v2 but don't think i can justify it with only doing just over 4000 miles over the past year.

Did you get the OZ off edition 38 by any chance?

Haha no pics of the "install" as it looks like someone just dropped it in the boot from a great height.

I'm over the moon with it mate it's really easy to use and so convenient.

Yea I got them off blackthorn he is on here too.

http://xptzq.cspgf.servertrust.com/product_p/airlift-v2-mk5-mk6.htm Thats the kit I bought.

I had waited for about a month or so to buy those wheels haha, I'm not sure whats next I'll just have too see what I fancy when I have the money. The main things i'm looking at now are r32 rear, stage 2 (decat downpipe and hpfp) and suede retrim for the steering wheel

id certainly recommend upgrading the brakes to r32/s3/NQSBBK etc as they really show how bad the standard gti brakes are

Did you have coilovers on this before you went air?

Is it advisable to have shorter aftermarket rear shocks with an air install?

Looks meaaan!  :scared:

Brakes are on the list of things to come but I think I want to sort the paint out first.

No I didn't have coilovers on before the air and at the moment I am running stock shocks but they are a bit bounce so I want some bilstein b4 shocks.
